Sequim REALTORS® Come Together to Support Local Student Athletes

One of the things I love most about living and working in Sequim is how often our community comes together to support local families, schools, and organizations.

This year, I was proud to participate in the Sequim Association of REALTORS® Charity Golf Scramble at The Cedars at Dungeness, not only as a golfer but also as both a hole sponsor and a team sponsor.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of local businesses, REALTORS®, golfers, volunteers, and community members, the tournament raised an impressive $10,913.20 for Sequim High School Athletics.

Those funds will help provide equipment, opportunities, and resources that allow local student-athletes to learn valuable lessons in teamwork, discipline, leadership, and perseverance.

A Community That Gives Back

One of the reasons I chose to build my real estate business on the Olympic Peninsula is because community involvement isn’t just encouraged here—it’s part of who we are.

Throughout the tournament, it was inspiring to see so many local businesses and individuals donating their time, sponsoring holes, contributing prizes, and simply showing up to support our students.

Events like this remind us that when neighbors work together, we can make a meaningful difference.

Why Supporting Local Matters

As a Realtor with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty, I have the privilege of helping people discover everything that makes Sequim such a special place to call home.

Community events like this golf tournament showcase the generosity, friendships, and civic pride that make the Olympic Peninsula more than just a beautiful place to live—they make it a wonderful place to build a life.

I was honored to sponsor both a hole and a team in this year’s event and look forward to supporting it again in the future.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make the tournament such a tremendous success, and thank you to the Sequim Association of REALTORS®, The Cedars at Dungeness, the many volunteers, sponsors, and every golfer who participated.

Together, we helped raise $10,913.20 for Sequim High School Athletics—a win that extends far beyond the golf course.

If you’re thinking about buying or selling a home in Sequim, Port Angeles, Port Townsend, or anywhere on the Olympic Peninsula, I’d love the opportunity to help. Just as important to me as real estate is supporting the community I’m proud to call home.
