- Eagledale Park Dog Park: This well-established park offers a grassy meadow and wooded trails and an acre devoted to an off-leash dog area. Enjoy scenic views and a change of pace with this picturesque location.
- Pritchard Park: While not an official dog park, this beachfront park allows leashed dogs on the beach below the high-tide line. Dogs will love splashing in the waves and chasing the sandpipers along the shore.

- Veterinary Clinics: Keeping your dog healthy is essential. Fortunately, the island boasts several top-notch veterinary clinics offering comprehensive care and expert advice. I used Day Road Animal Hospital who took my sick dog immediately and closer to my home is the Winslow Animal Clinic.
